Scholarship programme “Shaping Europe – Civic Education in Action”
21 Apr 2011We would like to draw your attention to the new Call for Applications of our scholarship programme “Shaping Europe – Civic Education in Action” .
The German Federal Agency for Civic Education and the Robert Bosch Fourndation are awarding 16 scholarships to active professionals from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. We are looking for people at the beginning of their professional careers who wish to be active internationally. We expect German speaking applicants to already be actively promoting democracy and social responsibility in their own countries and to be engaged in civic education.
We offer the opportunity to become an intern in a German educational institution and to participate in the network of European political education. The programme is intended for participants from Central and Southeastern Europe and aims to strengthen and develop early efforts at civic education in those countries.
